The Comptroller/Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer for the city.
The staff of the Comptroller/Treasurer's office are responsible for budget preparation, cash receipting and depositing,
accounts receivable, governmental accounting, disbursements and accounts payable, dog and cat licensing, financial
reporting, Forest and Union cemetery sales and information, investment of idle funds,and receiving Tax Payments.
The Accounting/Payroll function is part of the Comptroller/Treasurer's responsibilities. The Senior Accountant
manages the multi-fund accounting system, payroll, and related accounting functions.
