Gang Resistance Education & Training
G.R.E.A.T., Gang Resistance Education And Training, is taught at the 7th grade level by the Police School Liaison Officer.

This is a nine-session program taught over the course of the semester. The ninth session is graduation, where there is usually a party.

The program discusses the trends of gangs, why people join gangs, and suggests positive alternatives to criminal activity.

Stevens Point Police Department Open at New Location 933 Michigan Ave.
The Stevens Point Police Dept. is no longer located in the City/County building at 1515 Strongs Ave. The new Police Dept. opened Nov. 30 at 933 Michigan Ave. (the former MSTC building). Visitors may park and enter on the north side of the building.
