Police School Liaison Officer
Police liaison officers are assigned full-time to area schools. Their responsibilities include:
- Assisting students with questions or concerns
- Responding to calls within the school for fights, disorderly students, thefts, threats, truancy, harassment, etc.
- Teaching and talking to classes about driver education, date violence, teaching G.R.E.A.T. to seventh-grade students, and more.

June 12 Armed Robbery, Police Seeking Information
The Police Department is investigating a report of an armed robbery which took place earlier today at approx. 12:08 AM in the 1800 block of Wyatt Ave. Police are looking for further information, which may be submitted anonymously to Crimestpoppers.
