Police Department - Adult Crossing Guard
The Stevens Point Police Department has an immediate opening for a School Crossing Guard.
This highly responsible position involves supervising the street crossing activities of school children in all weather conditions.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated ability to relate well with school-aged children and to conduct themselves in a mature and responsible manner.
Employee must provide their own transportation to the crossing site.
Background checks will be conducted on finalists.
Payment will be made at the rate of $8.12 per crossing, with uniform being provided by the city.
