Comptroller-Treasurer Schlice explained that the tank was discovered between meetings and a quick decision had
to be made. The two choices were to remove the tank and get the road patched before winter comes back in or wait
until it is run it through committees and leave the road unpatched all winter, which would cause more problems
than it was worth. The full cost is $3500.
Ald. Phillips questioned whether there would be anymore costs.
Director VanAlstine replied that the test came back negative, so no further pollution.
Comptroller-Treasurer Schlice explained that the tank was in the right of way, therefore it is our responsibility.

and found it.
