Presentation by Russell Consulting regarding
Police Department Strategic Planning Initiative
Jeff and Linda Russell of Russell Consulting presented materials regarding Russell Consulting’s background and
experience in strategic planning. Examples of past strategic plans were provided for review by the Commission.
Approval of Minutes
Commissioner Taylor moved, seconded by Commissioner Boylan, to approve the minutes of the October 9th 2001 meeting.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
Confirmation of Bills
Commissioner Boylan moved, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to approve the confirmation of the October 2001 bills.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
Review, with possible action, regarding recodification
of Sections 1 through 3.03 of the Administrative Procedures of the Police and Fire Commission
Commissioner Taylor moved, seconded by Commissioner Fandre, to approve Sections 1 through 3.03 of the Administrative
Procedures of the Police and Fire Commission with a minor change regarding department training of the Policies.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
Fire Chief’s Report
Chief Barnes reported:

Boylan, to approve the Fire Chief’s report for October, 2001.
