1. Approval of minutes of January 10, 2001.

Commissioner Curtis moved, Commissioner Pintar seconded, for approval of the minutes of January 10, 2001.

Ayes, all, nays, none. Motion carried.

2. Creation of the Central Wisconsin Telecommunications Commission.

The discussion on the draft Joint Municipal Agreement for the Central Wisconsin Telecommunications Commission continued. Chairman Rackow handed out corrected copies of Appendices A, B, C and D dated January 25, 2001, to the Central Wisconsin Telecommunications Commission, Joint Municipal Agreement to the commissioners and other individuals present at the meeting. There were additions, deletions and changes made to the document. Final draft copies will be distributed at a later date.

Alderman Phillips moved, Commissioner Pintar seconded, to change the name of the commission from Central Wisconsin Telecommunications Commission to Stevens Point Area Telecommunications Commission.

Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.

Commissioner Lysne moved, Alderman Phillips seconded, that the Stevens Point Telecommunications Commission recommends to the Common Council to join the Stevens Point Area Telecommunications Commission.

Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.

3. Date, time, and location of next meeting.

The next Telecommunications Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2001, at 6:00 P.M. at the Water Department Building, 300 Bliss Avenue.

4. Adjourn into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(e) to discuss franchise negotiations.

Alderman Phillips moved, Chairman Rackow seconded, to adjourn into closed session.
