Ald. Seiser chaired the Personnel Committee meeting in the absence of Chairman Rackow.

1. Discussion and possible action on amendment to Administrative Policy
3.02 - Vacation.
The Personnel Committee and Common Council at their June meetings approved the revision to the vacation schedule
for non-represented employees. Any revision to the City's Administrative Policy is subject to approval by the Personnel
Committee and ultimately the Council.
Ald. Molski moved, Ald. Moore seconded, to approve the amendment to Administrative Policy 3.02 - Vacation.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
2. Adjourn into closed session
(approximately 7:30 P.M.) pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1) (e) and (f) for update and discussion regarding
a medical leave of absence in the Streets Department.
Ald. Moore moved, Ald. Sowieja seconded, to adjourn into closed session.
Roll Call: Ayes: Ald. Seiser, Sowieja, Molski, Moore.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
3. Reconvene into open session
(approximately 10 minutes after adjourning into closed session) for possible action.
Ald. Molski moved, Ald. Sowieja seconded, to reconvene into open session.
Roll Call: Ayes: Ald. Seiser, Sowieja, Molski, Moore.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
Ald. Molski moved, Ald. Sowieja, seconded, to approve the granting of a one month extension of the leave of absence
to the subject employee to provide the City with medical certification and review of the job description; that
the subject employee understands that she is to follow the parameters of the Physical Capability Form dated May
14, 2002, during the period of this extension; and that the one month extension starts on Tuesday, July 16, 2002,
at 7:30 A.M. after the July 15, 2002, Common Council meeting.
Ayes, all, nays, none. Motion carried.
