Personnel Committee Meeting Minutes
Monday, January 12, 2004 - 6:50 P.M.
City Water Department - 300 Bliss Avenue
Present: Chairman Rackow, Alderpersons Seiser, Molski, Moore.
Excused: Alderperson Markham

1. Notice of Intent - Employee seeking Public Office.
Ald. Molski moved, Ald. Seiser seconded, to approve the Notice of Intent from Kevin Ruehl who is seeking his second
term as District 4 Supervisor on the Portage County Board.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
2. Discussion and action
on salary of Interim Director of Water and Wastewater.
Kim Halverson, Water and Wastewater Administrative Services Manager was appointed by Mayor Wescott as the Interim
Director of Water and Wastewater with a salary of $56,046.95. This is the 2004 minimum pay grade for Grade IX for
the Director of Water and Wastewater position.
Chairman Rackow moved, Ald. Molski seconded, for approval of the salary for the Interim Director of Water and Wastewater.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
3. Adjourn into closed session
(approximately 7:00 P.M.) pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) for an update on bargaining
Chairman Rackow moved, Ald. Seiser seconded, to adjourn into closed session.
Roll Call: Ayes: Chairman Rackow, Alderpersons Seiser, Molski, Moore.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
