Personnel Committee Meeting Minutes
Monday, June 14, 2004 - 6:20 P.M.

Present: Chairman Molski, Alderpersons, Markham, Moore, Stroik, Barber

1. Request for out of state travel
- City Engineer.
Chairman Molski noted that normally such requests are submitted to the Personnel Committee in the year prior to
the actual out of state travel.
However, Director Euclide was not employed here at the time requests were reviewed last year.
Director Euclide indicated that funds for attending this conference are included in his 2004 budget.
Alderman Stroik moved, Alderman Barber seconded
to approve the request for out of state travel.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
2. Update on Health Insurance
Program.
Comptroller/Treasurer Schlice and Personnel Specialist reviewed the report that was included in the agenda packet.
Chairman Molski noted that no action was necessary.
3. 3. Consideration of amendments
to the City's Health Insurance Plan for retiree and COBRA participants - prescription drug co-pay, effective 1//1/2005.
Personnel Specialist Jakusz indicated that the increase recommended is the same as the non-represented employees
as well as union employees whose labor agreements are settled.
Alderman Markham moved, Alderman Moore seconded to approve the increase in prescription drug co-pays from $3.00
to $5.00 for generic and from $6.00 to $12.00 for brand name for the retiree and COBRA participants effective 1/1/2005.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
