2. Adjourn into EXECUTIVE SESSION (approximately 4:30 p.m.) pursuant to Wis. Stats. section 19.85 (1) (b), (c) and (e) for the following:
a. Probationary firefighter/paramedic interview

c. Update on Police Chief recruitment process

Adjourn into EXECUTIVE SESSION (approximately 4:30 p.m.) pursuant to Wis. Stats. ss. 19.85 (1) (b), (c) and (e) for the following:

Commissioner Boylan moved, seconded by Commissioner Pazdernik, to approve Brenden Kornell to regular status after the completion of his probationary period.

Item No. 2 (b): Recommendation of probationary police sergeant within the Police Department

Commissioner Taylor moved, seconded by Commissioner Boylan, to approve
Officer Martin Skibba to the rank of probationary police sergeant effective February 10, 2004.

5. Approval of Minutes

Commissioner Boylan moved, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to approve the minutes of the January 13, 2004 meeting.

6. Confirmation of Bills

Commissioner Boylan moved, seconded by Commissioner Pazdernik, to approve the confirmation of the January 2004 bills.

Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.

7. Police Chief's Report

Chief Carpenter reported:

8. Fire Chief's Report

Chief Barnes reported:

Commissioner Boylan moved, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to approve the Fire Chief's report for January, 2004.

Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion Carried.
