1) COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING
Future Land Use Chapter
Review Current Zoning Map
John Gardner noted the upcoming meetings with Town
of Hull on September 21 and the Town of Stockton on September 14. He reviewed the underlined changes made at the
last meeting in Section 8.4 Land Use Goals, Objectives and Policies. This chapter shows projections and the amount
of land needed to meet the projections within the current boundaries. He would like to see motions made to adopt
the goals, objectives and policies, and a tentative adoption of the two maps that we have reviewed. We have not
had any discussion about expansion to the west and he hopes everyone is comfortable with stopping at Rocky Run
Road.
Following discussion, these changes were suggested:
Ann Shannon moved, seconded by Fred Steffen, to delete Objective D8 under Goal D. and approve the remainder of Section 8.4
Ayes, Shannon, Steffen and Moore; Nays, Feldman
and Aldinger, Freckmann.
Motion failed. Will be brought back for further discussion.
Next meeting is September 26, 2005. Meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
