Ald. Sevenich moved, Ald. Stroik seconded, for approval of the mayor's appointments to standing committees.
Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.
4. Nominations and election of council member
to City Plan Commission.
Mayor Wescott called for nominations for Plan Commission.
Ald. Trzebiatowski nominated Ald. Moore to serve as the alderperson on Plan Commission.
Ald. Barr nominated Ald. Stroik to serve on Plan Commission.
Ald. Molski moved, Ald. Barr seconded, to close nominations.
Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.
Vote on show of hands for member of Plan Commission:
Ald. Moore: Ald. Sevenich, Hanson, Trzebiatowski, Molski, Barber, Moore.
Ald. Stroik: Ald. Robinson, Barr, Stroik.
Ald. Moore declared winner on a vote of 6 - 3 by Mayor Wescott.
5. Nominations and election of President
of Common Council.
Mayor Wescott asked for nominations for president of the common council.
Ald. Barber nominated Ald. Barr.
Ald. Sevenich moved to close nominations; Ald. Robinson seconded the motion.
Ayes, all nays, none; motion carried.
Ald. Barr was elected 9 - 0.
