Present: Chairman Molski, Alderpersons Barber, Wiza, Hanson, Robinson

Chairman Molski called the meeting to order.

Index of these Minutes:

1. Request consideration and approval of promotional pay - Police Lieutenant.
2. Discussion and possible action on Elected Officials salary for Alderperson for 2007.
3. Discussion and possible action on new Section 125 Plan Administrator.
4. Adjourn into closed session (approximately 6:35 p.m.) pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) for an update on bargaining.
5. Adjournment.

1. Request consideration and approval of promotional pay - Police Lieutenant.

Personnel Specialist Jakusz stated that Ron Carlson has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant replacing Kevin Ruder who was recently promoted to Captain. Police Chief Morris is requesting a promotional salary of $56,000; Mayor Wescott has reviewed the recommendation and is in concurrence with it.
Alderman Wiza moved, Alderman Barber seconded, all ayes to approve the promotional salary of $56,000 for Lieutenant Carlson.

2. Discussion and possible action on Elected Officials Salary for Alderperson for 2007.

The 2006 Aldermanic salary was sent in the fall of 2004 at $4,800.00 effective April 18, 2006; Mayor Wescott is recommending salary freeze for 2007.

Alderman Robinson moved, Alderman Barber seconded, all ayes to approve the Mayor's recommendation and freeze the Aldermanic salary for 2007 at $4,800.00.

3. Discussion and possible action on new Section 125 Plan Administrator.

Personnel Specialist Jakusz commented that the 2006 renewal had an increase in the administrative fees. As a result, Comptroller-Treasurer Schlice requested the consultants from Virchow Krause Benefits obtain proposals from other vendors. They received a bid from Wausau Benefits that was more in line with the current cost of the Section 125 Plan.

Alderman Wiza moved, Alderman Hanson seconded, all ayes to change the Section 125 Plan Administrator to Wausau Benefits in 2005.

4. Adjourn into closed session (7:25 p.m.) pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) for an update on bargaining.

Alderman Robinson moved, Alderman Barber seconded to adjourn into closed session.

Roll Call: Ayes: Chairman Molski, Alderpersons Wiza, Barber, Hanson, Robinson
Nays: None. Motion Carried.

5. Adjournment - 7:43 p.m.
