Chairman Molski called the meeting to order.

1. Request consideration and approval of alternate health insurance plans - retiree plan.

Personnel Specialist Jakusz informed the committee that the City formed a health insurance committee comprised of employees and retirees to look at the City's health insurance. From that committee, sub-committees were formed to look at different areas such as prescription drugs, education, plan analysis and retiree benefits. The proposal on tonight's agenda was crafted by the retiree benefit committee.

Alderman Wiza indicated that he couldn't find anything wrong with the request; he thinks it's a good idea.

Chairman Molski stated that City retirees pay their entire health insurance premium.

Alderman Robinson moved, Alderman Wiza seconded all ayes to approve the alternate health insurance plans for retirees.
