Monday, April 11, 2005 - 6:00 P.M.
City Water Department - 300 Bliss Avenue

Present: Ald. Rackow, Markham, Wiza, Sowieja, Sevenich.

Also Present: Mayor Wescott, C/T Schlice, Michael Ostrowski, Ald. Molski, Barr, Barber, Moore, Stroik; Chief Morris, Dir. Halverson, Gardner, Euclide; Roger Trzebiatowski, Jami Gebert, Jim Burress, Melba Sullivan, Eric Berens, Joel Lemke, Mary Barden, Jane Guzman, Terry and Kitty Colligan, Reid Rocheleau, Michael Pozarski.

1. Recommendation on license list:

A. Operator's (Bartender's) licenses.
B. "Class B" Beer and Liquor license for Lucky's Pub, by Michael J. Pozarski, effective April 19, 2005.
C. "Class B" Beer and Liquor license for Ace's Food and Spirits, by Joseph Elia, effective April 19, 2005.
D. Change of agent, Nancy Dulak replacing Joy Pennell at Country Springs Hotel.

Alderperson Wiza moved, Ald. Sowieja seconded, approval of the license list and the supplemental license list. Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.

2. Recommendation on Inspection Report.

A. Construction starts.
B. Violations.

Director Gardner said the largest permit is for the new Holiday Inn. This covers the hotel; another is coming for the convention center.

Ald. Sowieja moved, Ald. Markham seconded, for approval of the Inspection Report. Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.

3. Ordinance - satellite receiving stations.

This was referred back to committee by the Common Council. Director Gardner said he has revised the ordinance according to the wishes of the Council.

Ald. Markham asked about the section and recommended two paragraphs have subheadings b and c. She also asked for clarification of historic district requirements. Ald. Markham moved, Ald. Sevenich seconded, for approval of the changes. Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
