1. Approval of the minutes from the July 14, 2005 Transportation Commission
meeting.
Mr. Woehr noted that the motion made on agenda item
#3 did not indicate who made the motion or who seconded the motion. Manager Lemke will make the necessary corrections
to the minutes and submit them to the Commission next month. Elbert Rackow moved to approve the minutes from the
July 14, 2005 Transportation Commission meeting with the noted correction.
Jeremy Slowinski seconded the motion.
Ayes all; Nays None; Motion Carried.
2. Manager's Report:
- 2nd Quarter Revenue and Ridership Reports. Manager Lemke reported that the 2nd quarter ridership for 2005 was increased by 30.44% or 8,464 rides over CY2004. The 2nd quarter revenue for 2005 was $44,370.70. In CY 2004 the 2nd quarter revenue was $17,533.95.
- 2nd Quarter Budget Review. Manager Lemke reported that 42.01% of the Transit Operating budget has been expended as of June 31, 2005.
- July Ridership and Revenue Report. July ridership increased 10.28% or 967 rides over CY2004. Manager Lemke stated that the increased ridership was the result of the Try Transit Week. Revenue generated in July was $3,401.70.
- Staff updates. Two Bus Operator positions are currently open. Interviews are underway to fill the vacant positions.
- Sign project update. The sign project is complete.
- Video update. Manager Lemke is working on the script for the Transit Video and will present it to the commission for review upon completion.
Mr. Hopfensper moved to approve the Manager's Report and place it on file. Mr. Woehr seconded.

3. Next meeting date.
The next Transportation Commission meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 4:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Center.
