1. Approval of minutes from April 8, 2005 ADA Committee meeting.
Ramona Varney made a motion to approve the April
8, 2005 ADA Advisory Committee meeting. Leone Bruski seconded the motion.
Ayes all; Nays none; Motion carried.
2. Review of Applications for Point Plus
Service.
Manager Lemke presented 19 new Point Plus applications for review. The committee confirmed eligibility for all applicants.
3. Update on Transit Issues:
Revenue and ridership reports
Manager Lemke presented the second quarter revenue
and ridership reports. Fixed route ridership increased 39.03% and Point Plus ridership decreased 5.87%. Second
quarter overall revenue was $47,678.80.
July fixed route ridership increased 17.61%, Point Plus ridership was down 14.95%. Revenue total was $4,455.70
August fixed route ridership was up 15.05%, Point Plus was up 5.61%. Revenue generated in August was $5,825.20.
Chairperson Abel asked if people are taking advantage of the additional Point Plus service offered on evenings
and weekends. Manager Lemke indicated that there are some people taking advantage of it but not many. Chairperson
Abel suggested sending a letter to Point Plus applicants to inform them of the service.
4. Distribution of signed ADA Bi-Laws, which
were approved at the April 8th meeting.
The new bi-laws were distributed to the committee.
5. Next meeting date.
The next meeting will tentatively be held in January
2006.
