5. Food?
6. Green Building & Energy
7. Transportation?
8. Waste & Recycling

Mayor Halverson and Vice-Chair Heart will contact the recommended individuals to form the subcommittees. There are also interested citizens who have contacted Amy Heart about serving on the subcommittees.

2) Public Forum Discussion: The Task Force agreed to proceed with filling the subcommittees and defining roles. After the subcommittees are filled, the Task Force decided to hold a public kick-off meeting. This will be a way to introduce the idea of an eco-municipality task force, and gather initial ideas. The goal is to have the kick-off in late September or early October.

3) Community Assets: Task Force members started a list of assets we already have in the community that will provide a strong base for an eco-municipality. This list of "Community Assets" will be developed further by the subcommittees, and will include resources such as the Comprehensive Plan, Bike/Ped plan and others. The Task Force agreed that part of this process is not to re-create the wheel, but to use past plans, and assets to create a framework for real recommendations.

4) Task Force Member Roles: Many Task Force members agreed to be liaisons to certain subcommittees. These roles will be finalized as the subcommittee membership is solidified. The subcommittees will provide reports to the Task Force as well to keep them informed on progress.

5) Meeting schedule: The Task Force will meet on a regular, monthly basis. Vice-Chair Heart will send out a schedule request to find a time that works for all the members.
