Chairman Hanson called the meeting to order.
Index of these minutes:
1. Request for out of state travel - Fire Department.
2. Request to increase hours for the Production Specialist position from 24 to 32 hours
per week.

1. Request for out of state travel - Fire Department
Chief Barnes has been invited to participate in
an advanced Command and Control pilot course at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The cost to
the City consists of a meal ticket for the duration of Chief Barnes' stay ($117.00). Chief has indicated he has
funds for this in his existing budget. Per Administrative Policy 3.05,
Chief is requesting permission for out of state travel.
Alderperson Molski moved, Alderperson Wiza seconded, to approve Chief Barnes attendance at the advance Command
and Control pilot course at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland from 11/24/2007 - December 1, 2007.
Ayes all; nays none. Motion carried.
2. Request to increase hours
for the Production Specialist from 24 to 32 hours per week
Included in the packet is a memo from John Quirk outlining his request for the increased hours for this position. City levy money will not be used to fund the additional hours. Alderperson Wiza moved; Alderperson Myers seconded to approve the addition of 8 hours per week for the Production Specialist position effective upon City Council approval.
Aye all; nays none. Motion carried.
