Chairman Hanson called the meeting to order.

1. Request to authorize pay increase for the School Crossing Guards effective 1/1/2008

Per the Chief's memo, he is requesting that the pay for the School Crossing Guards be in creased by 3% from $8.61 to $8.87 per crossing effective 1/1/2008.

Alderperson Molski moved, Alderperson Wiza seconded all ayes to approve the 3% pay increase for the School Crossing Guards effective 1/1/2008. Ayes all; nays none. Motion carried.

2. Discussion and possible action on request for limited term employee, City Clerk's Office

Alderperson Wiza moved to approve the request for a limited term employee in the City Clerk's Office; Alderperson Moore seconded. Discussion ensued.

Reid Rocheleau spoke in support of the request; he feels it is a good investment.

Ayes all; nays none. Motion carried.
