Schleihs, to adjourn into executive session.

Commissioner Rice moved, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to reconvene into open session.

Commissioner Meyer moved, seconded by Commissioner Schleihs, to approve Probationary Police Officer Tim Obremski
to regular status upon the successful completion of his probationary period.

Nays: None. Motion carried.

5. Approval of Minutes
Commissioner Schleihs moved, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to approve the minutes of December 12, 2006
and January
2, 2007.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
6. Confirmation of Bills
Commissioner Meyer moved, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to accept the confirmation of the December 2006 bills.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
7. Fire Chief's Report:
Chief Barnes reported:
Commissioner Schleihs moved, seconded by Commissioner
Taylor, to approve the Fire Chief's Report for December, 2006.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
8. Duty disability retirement
- Police Department
Officer Paul Kaczmarek retired from the Police Department effective January 5, 2007 with 23 years of police service.
9. Police Chief's Report
Chief Morris reported:
Commissioner Taylor moved, seconded by Commissioner
Meyer, to approve the Police Chief's report for December, 2006.
Ayes, all; nays, none. Motion carried.
