Ald. Trzebiatowski moved, second by Ald. Slowinski to approve the 32 New and 35 Renewal Operator's (Bartenders)
Licenses; Class "B" Beer for Polito's Pizza LLC, 960 Main Street; Change of Agent: CS-SP Traditions,
LLC and CS-SP Operations, LLC, 1501 North Point Drive, Jodi Lyn Spink, N 8040 Cty. J, Iola, WI, agent, replacing

Ald. Barber states that he must abstain from this vote.
Capt. Dowling asked that for Partner's Pub, that the same conditions as last year of having two contractual officers
be implemented.
Jeff Moffat, owner of Partner's Pub said that was acceptable.
Ald. Trzebiatowski and Ald. Slowinski agreed to amend their motion.

2. Parking conditions for
Brews, Brats and Bands, August 17 and 18, 2007.
Capt. Dowling said these are the same restrictions that were applied last year and this weekend at Rock the Brewery
and it worked well.
Ald. Slowinski moved, second by Ald. Barber, to approve the parking conditions for Brews, Brats and Bands, August
17 and 18, 2007. Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.
3. Street closings for the
following events:
A. Main Street from Third to Water Street, on August 4, 2007, from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. for Annual Corn on the Curb promotion.
B. Portage Court from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2007 for UW-Stevens Point Homecoming Car Push event.
Ald. Stroik read parts of an email from Dan Mielke,
representing the Farmers Market. He requested that the same rules used last year be followed in which parking would
remain open until noon with the exception that the northwest section be closed off at 11:30 a.m. for new cars entering,
but allowing existing cars to remain parked to allow customers a half hour to shop and be out of that section by
the noon deadline.
Jami Gebert, Association of Downtown Business, stated that they have no problems with the Farmers Market request.
Ald. Stroik moved, second by Ald. Heart, to approve the street closing of Main Street from Third to Water Street,
on August 4, 2007, from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. with the noted exception on the northwest corner for the Annual Corn
on the Curb promotion and Portage Court from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Oct.. 12, 2007 for UW-Stevens Point Homecoming
Car Push event. Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.
4. Spud City Car Event at
Pfiffner Pioneer Park on July 6-8, 2007.
Ald. Trzebiatowski moved, second by Ald. Barber, to approve the Spud City Car Event at Pfiffner Pioneer Park on
July 6-8, 2007 including the car cruise.
Ald. Trzebiatowski asked if the Police Department had any problems with the request.
Capt. Dowling said that this proposal have been amended to where most of it is outside the City so they anticipate
having no problems.
Call for the Vote: Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.
5. Request for Justiceworks
7 Mile Run/Walk on September 1, 2007.
Katherine Munck with Justiceworks said last year they held the run/walk in conjunction with UWSP homecoming but
it was difficult to work the event into this year's homecoming plans. Instead they are affiliating with the symphony
orchestra and the Jazz Festival to hold the run/walk the morning of Saturday, September 1 in conjunction with River
Front Jazz Festival. They have been pre-approved by the Police Department and approved by the University.
She then reviewed the route of the run/walk and noted that they will have live music along the route.
Ald. Heart moved, second by Ald. Trzebiatowski, to approve the request to hold the Justiceworks 7 Mile Run/Walk
on September 1, 2007 and the route provided. Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.
6. Recommendation of the
monthly Inspection Report:
A. Construction Starts.
B. Violations.
Ald. Stroik moved, second by Ald. Slowinski, to
approve the monthly Inspection Report and place it on file. Ayes, all; nays, none; motion carried.
