Ald. Stroik moved, Ald. Trzebiatowski
seconded, approval of the Mayor's appointments of council members to standing committees. Ayes, all; Nays, none;
motion carries.
4. Nominations and election of President
of the Council.
Ald. Walther stated that it has been a great honor to serve as President. Although he has been asked to run again
he feels it is time to let someone else serve in this position.
Ald. Myers nominated Ald. Stroik.
Ald. Trzebiatowski nominated Ald. Heart.
Ald. Molski moved, Ald. Trzebiatowski seconded, to close nominations. Ayes, all; Nays, none; motion carries.
Ballots counted: Ald. Stroik was elected President of the Common Council with six votes, Ald. Heart received five
votes.
Meeting adjourned at 5:58 p.m.
