1. ASSESSOR'S REPORT.
Motion made by Ald. Moore, seconded by Ald. Stroik to accept the report of the Assessor and place it on file.
Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.
2. RESCIND PERSONAL PROPERTY
TAX - TAKE 10 QUICK LUBE.
Motion made by Ald. Molski, seconded by Ald. Moore to rescind the personal property tax for Take 10 Quick Lube.
Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.
3. STATE GRANT TO REMOVE
EXOTIC EURASIAN WATER MILFOIL FROM LAKE JOANIS.
C/T Schlice stated this is just like the other state grants with the University, we are the lead agency with the
University to be responsible for all costs of the program.
Motion made by Ald. Stroik, seconded by Ald. Moore to approve the application for the state grant to remove exotic
eurasian water milfoil from Lake Joanis.
Ald. Wiza questioned what method they are going to use to stop the eurasian milfoil.
Director Gardner stated they will use a chemical treatment and insects.
Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.
4. DISCUSSION OF CREATING
TIF DISTRICT 7 - VALLEY SALES CORP.
C/T Schlice stated that the City has been requested to create a TIF District on the old Woodward property area.
The process does take awhile so we are looking for an approval to start moving with the paperwork. We will bring
it back to the Committee once we get all the details.
Motion made by Ald. Molski, seconded by Ald. Hanson to approve creating a TIF District for Valley Sales Corp.
Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.
5. APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF
CLAIMS.
Motion made by Ald. Molski, seconded by Ald. Walther to approve the payment of claims in the amount of $333,596.93.
The claims were discussed.
Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.
6. MOTION TO ENTER INTO CLOSED
SESSION PURSUANT TO 19.85(1)(E) OF THE WISCONSIN STATUTES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING A STRATEGIC NEGOTIATION
PLAN FOR THE POSSIBLE PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE FROM MULTIPLE PARTIES IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
Motion made by Ald. Moore, seconded by Ald. Stroik to adjourn into closed session at 6:27 p.m.
