Chairman Hanson called the meeting to order.

Index of these minutes:

1. Request to fill vacancy - Streets Department.
2. Adjourn into closed session (approximately 6:55 p.m.) pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(f) for the purpose of reviewing a request for a medical leave of absence.
3. Reconvene into open session (approximately 10 minutes after adjourning into closed session) for possible action on the request for medial leave of absence.
4. Adjournment.

1. Request to fill vacancy - Streets Department.

Alderperson Wiza moved to approve the filling of the vacancy in the Streets Department; Alderperson Moore seconded. Ayes all; nays none. Motion carried.

Alderperson Wiza thanked Mr. Berna for his 32 years of service to the City of Stevens Point.

2. Adjourn into closed session (7:25 p.m.) pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(f) for the purpose of reviewing a request for a medical leave of absence.

Alderperson Wiza moved to enter closed session; Alderperson Moore seconded.
Roll Call: Ayes: Chairman Hanson; Alderpersons Molski, Myers, Moore, Wiza
Nays: None. Motion carried.

3. Reconvene into open session (7:28 p.m.) for possible action on the request for medical leave of absence.

Alderperson Moore moved to reconvene into open session; Alderperson Wiza seconded.
Roll Call: Ayes: Chairman Hanson; Alderpersons Molski, Myers, Moore, Wiza
Nays: None. Motion carried.

Alderperson Molski moved to approve a medical leave of absence up to three months after the exhaustion of the FMLA with the understanding that the employee can return to work earlier if released to full duty by his physician; Alderperson Wiza seconded. Ayes all; nays none. Motion carried.

4. Adjournment - 7:30 p.m.
