Iverson Park Winter Sports Area Closed
The recent warm daytime temperatures have
caused the snow and ice to melt enough that the Iverson Park Winter Sports Area is now closed until further notice.
The Iverson Park Winter Sports Area includes:
- Two 300 ft. long Toboggan Slides
- Four Sled and Saucer Hills
- One sled hill specifically designated for children
6 years of age and younger
- One outdoor lighted recreational ice skating rink
- Tracked and groomed 2.5 mile cross-country ski
trail
- Warming Lodge
The Iverson Park Winter Sports Area is open
Fridays 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturdays 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.;
Sundays 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. All areas except the ski trails are lighted for night use.
Our Winter season typically runs from the second
week of December through the end of February, depending on weather conditions and accumulated snowfall.
The Winter Sports Area is available for private
parties. Get

Driving Directions: 1) From Highway 10, turn south at the lights onto Sunset Ave. (you'll
see Walgreens on the north side of this intersection). 2)
Drive four blocks south and Sunset will
end at Hillcrest Dr. 3) Turn left (east) on Hillcrest Dr. and in four and a half
blocks (just past Sunrise Ave.) you'll get to the entrance of Iverson Park. 4)
To get to the warming lodge, toboggan runs,
skating rink, and sled hills, turn left into the parking area just before you get to the arches. 5) To
get to the ski trails, go under the stone arches and down the hill to the parking area.
