Iverson Park Winter Sports Area Sled and Saucer Hills
Iverson Park Winter Sports Area is Closed

The sled and saucer hills are located adjacent to the warming lodge, skating rink, and toboggan slides.

The sled and saucer hills are open
Fridays 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturdays 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.; and Sundays 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Air-filled devices (tubes) ARE allowed on the saucer/sled hills. Snowboards are NOT allowed on the saucer/sled hills. Stairs are built into the sides of the saucer/sled hills so it is easier to get back to the top. One sled hill is specifically designated for children 6 years of age and younger.

Our Winter season typically runs from the second week of December (approximately) through the end of February, depending on weather conditions and accumulated snowfall.

Driving Directions: 1) From Highway 66, turn south at the lights onto Sunset Ave. (you'll see Walgreens on the north side of this intersection). 2) Drive four blocks south and Sunset will end at Hillcrest Dr. 3) Turn left (east) on Hillcrest Dr. and in four and a half blocks (just past Sunrise Ave.) you'll get to the entrance of Iverson Park. 4) Don't go under the stone arches and down the hill! 5) Turn left into the parking area just before you get to the arches.

The Iverson Park Winter Sports Area is available for private parties. Get private party rental information.

The Iverson Park Winter Sports Area also includes:

  • Two 300 ft. long toboggan slides
  • One outdoor lighted recreational ice skating rink
  • Tracked and groomed 2.5 mile cross-country ski trail (not lighted)
  • Warming Lodge
