Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program
The Housing Rehabilitation grant program offers zero-percent interest loans to income qualified home owners to improve their properties. Owners do not have to repay their loan until they leave their home or refinance their principal mortgage.
Landlords are offered 10 year zero-percent interest loans for rental improvements. The City loan program closed $237,496 worth of loans in 2002. The combined efforts of CAP Services and the City resulted in $643,000 of loan closings for 2002.

The Central Wisconsin Chapter of Habitat for Humanity constructs new homes in existing neighborhoods for qualifying families. The City assists Habitat with securing and funding their building sites.
