Stevens Point Police Officer Information The Stevens Point Police Department continually advertises to establish an eligibility list for the position of Sworn Law Enforcement Officer for the City of Stevens Point. Once an eligibility list is established, it is maintained for a period of one year. The list may be renewed for one additional year at the discretion of the city. Recent Changes to our Recruitment Process The Department has developed an informational brochure, available by request. We now take applications continually. There is no longer an application fee. Applications are available in person, by mail, or on this web site (see below). If using the web site, complete the application, print it, then deliver it to Police Department either in person or by mail NOT BY FAX.
