There are six (6) parking meter box locations in the city. They are: 1000 block of Main, in front of Jim Laabs Music 900 block of Fremont near the hospital 900 block of Isadore by the Fire Department In the SPASH 1201 N. Where is the Police Department located and what are your hours? The Stevens Point Police Department is located in the Courthouse at 1515 Strongs Ave. The Records Bureau is located in the basement on the east side of the Courthouse and is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. For after hours service, Dispatch is located on the west side of the police ramp which is under the Courthouse. Can you tell me if my license plates are expired? Do I need an appointment to have my fingerprints taken for employment purposes? Where do I go? No appointment is necessary at the Records Bureau from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Stevens Point has a City Ordinance 9.05(l) that restricts all parking between 2:30 AM and 6:00 AM on all city streets.
