The Triad
Program is a partnership between the seniors
of the community and local law enforcement. The program is based out of the Lincoln Center. We have meetings every
other month, and we do activities that benefit the seniors. The last project we did was a winterization program
at the end of September. With this program, officers and volunteers checked seniors' vehicles' fluids, belts, tires,
etc. to be sure they looked good as they head into the winter season.
The program was free of charge, all we asked was a
donation of a canned food item that went to Operation Bootstrap. We plan to do this project again next year. We
have also installed smoke alarms in seniors' homes. The smoke alarms were free to the senior, and purchased by
TRIAD at cost.
