Stevens Point Transit offers "Freedom Pass"

Stevens Point Transit is offering Elementary, Jr. High, and High School students the opportunity to purchase a Summer "Freedom Pass" for $20. The pass will allow students to ride the City Bus during Summer break, June 9 through August 29, 2008, as often as they would like. The new pass will be available at our pass outlet stores on May 1, 2008.

Stevens Point Transit bus routes run Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Routes travel throughout the City of Stevens Point, the communities of Whiting and Park Ridge, and into Crossroad Commons in Plover. Front door service is provided to many area businesses. Friendly, helpful drivers will assist you in reaching your destination.

Use the City Bus to get to shopping locations, go to and from employment, get to area parks and the public pool, go downtown to the library, get your hair cut, visit friends, or just see the city. If we don't go as close as you would like to your destination, you can "Rack and Roll" - all buses are equipped with bicycle racks, so take your bike with you!
