Official Site of the Government of Stevens Point, Wisconsin   Stevens Point Transit Point Plus - Transportation for the Disabled Point Plus is a specialized door-to-door transportation service available to individuals living in the City of Stevens Point, and communities of Whiting, and Park Ridge who qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. The service provides transportation opportunities to doctor appointments, shopping, work, hair appointments, or to just visit a friend- it is not limited to medical appointments only. The Point Plus Service requires reservations 24 hours in advance to guarantee a ride. Individuals interested in using this special service need to fill out an application and must meet the ADA criteria.       While UWSP is in session, Point Plus is available Monday - Friday from 6:45 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. When UWSP is not in session, Point Plus service hours are Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Point Plus Fare is $2.00 for a one-way trip.
