The Trolley will be downtown providing free rides on Friday, July 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Use City Bus to access downtown sidewalk sales, great food, children's activities and live bands!   Bus passes, maps, and schedules can now be found at the service desk at ShopKo, 1200 Main St. They are also available at County Market, 1600 Academy Ave.; Copps South, 3256 Church St.; and from any city bus.   The City of Stevens Point provides public transportation through two services, fixed route transportation and Point Plus, a specialized door-to-door service for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) qualified riders. Point Transit provides service to the communities of Stevens Point, Whiting, Park Ridge, and the Crossroads Commons shopping center in Plover. Point Transit is operated by a staff of sixteen Bus Operators (six full time and ten part time), an evening/weekend Supervisor, an Operations Supervisor, and a Transit Manager.
