In order to create development in the area, the City
of Stevens Point has opened Phase II of the city-owned subdivision located north on Torun Road, just past the Stevens
Point Municipal
Airport. The Green Circle Trail
is close to the subdivision. Easy access to major highways makes this an ideal location. Large lots, a park, a
disc golf area, and upscale housing will make this an attractive neighborhood.
The following procedures will be followed for the
sale of the lots:
1. Purchase of the lots can be through any licensed Realtor office or the City of Stevens Point Comptroller-Treasurer's
Office.
2. Upon closing of the sale, a commission equal to 5% of the selling price will be paid to a Realtor who submits
an accepted offer to purchase. Lots sold though the city will not be discounted.
3. Sealed offers to purchase will be delivered to the Comptroller-Treasurer's Office (open 7:30 - 4:00 M-F). Offers
will be opened at approximately Noon and 4:00 p.m. daily, with the offer that is most advantageous to the city
being accepted. Realtors will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance of an offer to purchase within 1 business
day by e-mail. E-mail addresses are required
with offer to purchase.
4. The lot pricing schedule on the web site is the minimum price that will be accepted by the city. Pricing includes
water, sewer, street, electric, natural gas, and cable in the street right-of-way. The city reserves the right
to accept or reject any and all offers to purchase.
5. Closing must be completed within 60 days of acceptance of offer to purchase, and construction must commence
within 12 months of closing.
6. $1,000 earnest money is required to be submitted to the city with an offer to purchase. If submitting offers
by lot preference, only one deposit is required if intent is to purchase only one lot.
7. If submitting an offer to purchase multiple lots, you must submit each individually (not as a package) on a
stand-alone basis to fairly compete with other offers. Closing and construction requirements will not be waived
for multiple purchases.
Offer to Purchase forms are available at the Comptroller-Treasurer's
Office.
Offers only accepted at the Comptroller-Treasurer's office during normal business hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m.
