Special Needs Alerts
In an effort to facilitate a positive interaction between first responders and residents with special needs, the Stevens Point Police Department uses a “Special Needs Alert Form” to obtain person-specific information of both children and adults with special needs.
The information requested on the form is for the sole purpose of helping first responders safely deal with children/adults in the community with special needs.
This program is voluntary. You decide if this program would benefit your child/family member in the event that Emergency Responders are called. The information from the alert form will help Responders have crucial information in order to assist more effectively.
