“Black, White & Gray” Exhibit Call for Art

The Riverfront Arts Center seeks submissions for their next exhibit, “Black, White & Gray." The exhibit’s concept is to create a gallery space that immerses viewers in a variety of subjects that are connected through the black, white, and gray palette.

For this exhibit, the Arts Center welcomes 2-D and 3-D works, including but not limited to paintings, drawings, photography, fiber, sculpture, pottery, collage, glasswork, metalwork, and stonework. All submissions must be predominantly black, white, & gray. Artists are encouraged to use any additional colors in a dramatic and minimal way.

Please consider visitors are of all ages when selecting or creating submissions. All artwork will be curated by our advisory committee for consideration into the exhibit. Inappropriate subject matter or failure to follow the exhibitor requirements will disqualify your work.

Artists must be 17 or older and may submit up to two pieces for consideration. There is a $10 (non-refundable) submission fee for two submissions.  Exhibit requirements and submission forms are available at the RAC, or follow the link below.

“Black, White, & Gray” submissions are due in-person on Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Please contact the RAC with questions. The exhibit runs September 11 to October 17.

The Riverfront Arts Center is open to the public and free of charge Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Closed between exhibits for installation.
