Notice of Spring Election - April 5, 2022

An election will be held in the City of Stevens Point on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 to elect Alderpersons. The term is two years and begins on April 19. The First District Alderperson race is to fulfill the remaining year of that two-year term.

City Seeking Poll Workers (Election Officials) for 2022-2023

The City Clerk’s office is looking for persons who are interested in serving as election official for the 2022-2023 election cycle. Election officials are paid $14.50 per hour for both training and Election Day duties.

To work as an election official, a person must:

  • Be a qualified elector of Portage County
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be 18 years old (except high school students)
  • Be able to read and write fluently in the English language
