Be Active Wisconsin
Community Fitness Challenge
March 1- 31, 2021
Cities and towns across Wisconsin are hosting the first-ever Community Fitness Challenge! The “Be Active Wisconsin” Community Challenge invites all community members of any age to participate in a virtual challenge to promote active lifestyles, connect people to the outdoors by encouraging the use of our parks/trail systems, and engage Wisconsin communities in a friendly competition!
All active minutes count (not just running/walking), so let’s get moving Stevens Point! The winning community will receive a trophy, and all paid participants receive a T-shirt. While there is a personal goal of 200 minutes a week to help motivate and to give you a goal to strive for, there are no requirements and no awards given for personal goals so that you can customize it based on your needs.
How it works:
- Register at http://bit.ly/BeActiveStevensPoint
- 10$ per participant (registration open until March 14.)
- Receive a challenge t-shirt
- Support community wellness programing
- Represent the Stevens Point Area, bring home the state trophy!
A link to a Google form will be emailed to all registered participants on March 1.
Log your active minutes each week by Monday morning at 10am via the form. First log on 3/8.
Watch for our community minute totals and challenge updates shared via our Facebook page.
We want to get Point moving! Participate without registering for the community challenge using this fun, visual minutes tracker, the Be Active Wisconsin Coloring Sheet (PDF), and of course follow along on our Facebook page.
